Prepare an acquisition decision

Before you begin: confirm screening, prospectus, parcel context, and source evidence are current.

  1. Open Acquisition, find the file, and verify its file number.
  2. Complete the LAS evaluation and confirm the calculated score.
  3. Complete every applicable critical diligence item and attach its evidence.
  4. Resolve or assign exceptions before referral.
  5. At the appropriate stage, select Triage map, LAS score sheet, and Board memo; inspect each generated output.
  6. Confirm the file's history shows the expected referral to Board.
  7. In Board portal, include the matter in the correct packet.
  8. After the meeting, record the official outcome, date, and conditions and confirm they return to the source file.

Done when: evaluation and diligence support the referral and the source file matches the official recorded decision. A generated memo is not approval.
