Due diligence and board decision

Record due diligence

Open the acquisition file and expand Due diligence. The summary shows completed critical items against the configured total. For each applicable item, record its status, finding, responsible person, dates, and supporting evidence.

Before referral:

  • every applicable critical item has a result;
  • exceptions identify an owner and disposition;
  • authoritative reports are attached under Documents;
  • useful context is in Notes, not substituted for typed diligence results;
  • sensitive information is stored only where authorized.

Prepare the matter

At the Board stage, review file facts, evaluation, diligence, notes, and attachments. Select Triage map, Board memo, and LAS score sheet as needed and inspect each generated file. Correct source data in GeoTract and regenerate if a document is wrong.

The Board portal assembles referred matters into meeting packets and returns decisions to their source workflows. A generated memo, agenda item, or meeting date is not approval. Record the official outcome, decision date, conditions, and source document before continuing to registration.
